Founder and Executive Director
Megan Klaeger graduated from Indiana University Maurer School of Law. While attending IU, Megan interned at public defender offices in Bedford, Indiana; Burnet, Texas; New York, NY; and Washington, D.C. After graduating, Megan returned to Marble Falls to open her own office where she focused on criminal, family, and CPS matters. Through her work, both during and after law school, Megan was concerned by the number of individuals needing affordable, holistic, and dedicated legal representation. In order to help meet this need, Megan founded the Highland Lakes Legal Center in 2016.
Since returning to Marble Falls, Megan has been active in the community. Megan is on the Marble Falls City Council, a board member for the Highland Lakes Equality Center, and is the founder of the Marble Falls Dog Park.
